Saxon Falls is a two stage waterfall in a deep gorge on the Montreal River near Ironwood. It's on the site of a hydroelectric dam. You approach the falls by crossing the river on a walkway above the huge pipe that transports water from the dam to the power house below the falls. After crossing the river you can divert to a trail that leads to overlooks above the falls or you can continue on to a long staircase that leads down to the river below the falls.
